ALBANS — Although Libery MacKenzie Turner Lawyer is in heaven now, she would be delighted to announce the engagement of her mother, Hayley Marie Turner, the daughter of Martha Turner of St. Albans and David Turner, and his wife, Linda, of Highgate. Hayley is engaged to Keeneth Lawyer, the son of John and Kelly Lawyer, of Richford.

Their daughter, Liberty, will be a happy princess angel at their wedding on August 18, 2012.

David is a 1995 graduate of MVUHS and is currently employed as a Systems Administrator for General Dynamics Information Technology.

ST. ALBANS - Mr. and Mrs. Blair and Diane Smith of St. Albans are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Shelley Lynn Smith to Philip Mitchell Martinson, son of Wynn and Joanne Martinson of Huntley, Montana.

Shelley graduated in 2009 from the University of Akron with dual Masters Degrees in flute performance and music history. She is currently a doctoral candidate and teaching assistant at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Fla.

Philip graduated from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University in 2011 with a Masters degree in trombone performance. He currently teaches music theory and applied brass lessons at Mason's School of Music in Tallahassee, Fla., and performs with the Ocala Symphony Orchestra.

A September 1, 2012 wedding is planned.

Kyle is a 2003 graduate of Missisquoi Valley Union and a 2006 graduate of SUNY Canton College of Technology with a degree in air conditioning engineering, and is employed at GMCR.

Their close friend, Benjamin Gorton, officiated the ceremony at the Ylang Ylang Beach Resort in Montezuma, Costa Rica.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Vermont and is employed in Human Resources at Instrumart in South Burlington.
The groom is a Marine Corps veteran and works as an Electronics Technician at Goodrich in Vergennes.
Mr. and Mrs. Nichol reside in Burlington.

The bride is the daughter of Terry Muthig-Seekamp of Alburgh, and Brian Seekamp of Bullville, N.Y.. The groom is the son of Joe and Debbie Dunn of Hobbs, N.M.
The newlyweds reside in Columbia, N.H.
Family and friends will be gathering to celebrate the union in August 2012, in Alburgh.
